Have an Idle Buddy Malware nuance that won't uninstall completely. Uninstalled from uninstall menu (titled under a weird "Work" title), and it was removed from corner Windows menu (old start menu popup), but still shows running in the background in the far-right taskbar up-arrow menu option. Any definitions update or additions happening with it? It says it won't slow computer down, but I read it's a cryptocurrency miner with ads and more. Anyhow, don't want it running or gathering data from my PC and slowing down my PC and hacking my financials. Any word on how to remove until definitions update? Don't want to download third malware removal tools or programs, as they usually screw up settings, slow PC's down, and run adware and malware themselves and are a pain to remove. More...

Dear Community, it seems i have a malware but no idea what it does. I've runned Windows Defender full scan, offline scan and as extra Norton Anti-virus. Nothing seems to be wrong. After that i looked for anti malware software but the moment i use the word "malware" in google or any other search engine, my browser shuts down (tried it in microsoft edge, firefox, chrome). Also if i try by other means to get to anti-malware sites, it also shuts down the browser. 2nd i tried to download a anti-malware program on a different pc, put it on a stick and install it like that on my pc. The installer shuts down. Windows Defender pop-up "Virus & Threats" says Threats found by antivirus I have scanned and run troubleshooter etc. The report says NO THREATs but a pop-up with notification sound keeps going off. I just upgraded to windows 10. I was doing a scan with house call online and it found IndigoJunoIQV manufacture unknown in msconfig/system configuration but it could not remove it. I have searched the net and no search results come up for that. I ran windows defenders and it did not recognize it as a threat, and I ran avg and it did not recognize it as a threat. Can a Rootkit be Totally annihilated by Scanning through Defender? What if it is deeply embedded in the OS itself, finding root on some apps or file or even in user and kernel levels.
