    I wish I could help. I don't know how to enable it. I never used the feature so I wouldn't know how to enable it if I did use it. I'll do some looking and see if I can help you.

    No you really don't. There are very few apps that need it.

    Have you tried selecting properties on the executable and setting it to use the correct framework. My bet is you have 4.0 installed and it is creating the problem.

    Use Windows Update to make sure you have all updates for the system. It should fix the .Net issues. Once done try the fix again from Microsoft Fixit.
