[Solved] Having problems burning a dvd
paulc replied to Mokles's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hi Mokles as you have the BUP IFO VOB files on your computer which are the files that are on a DVD all you need to do is burn them to disc. download imgburn form here http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/ then have a look at this page http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_copy_dvd_with_dvd_shrink_page_5.cfm you only need to do the first three steps then click burn it will say you have not named the film but just close that if you do not need it and let it burn to disk hope it helps Paul -

Thank you very much Airborne What I did was open your gif file in a Animation program Then saved each frames as photo Then removed all the background from each photo in photoshop. And put in the shadow Then open the van gif and saved each frame Then put the horse into each frame in order and saved them Then put each photo into the Animation program again All done

what program did you use. do you still have any of the backup files on your laptop. if so see if they will play 1 just to see if it is the Media player or not download vlc player from here http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html?tag=mncol;2 and see if that can play them it plays most file types. 2 download k-lite codec pack. it may be just a codec that you need to play them http://download.cnet.com/K-Lite-Mega-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10794603.html?tag=mncol;1 -
I had this problem when I first got win 7 I could not find something I had downloaded from my dvd camcorder. I found them in the end in a folder called virtualstore You have to show hidden files and folder on you system. To open the hidden files and folders. Open a folder on your computer in the top left corner of the window click organize on the drop down menu click folder and search options. Click view Click on the show hidden files.folders Now if you go to the virtualstore folder Local disk/ user /name (your name)/appdata/local/virtaulstore There is also a folder call roaming in the appdata folder have a look in there aswell they could be in there Hope this helps

If you download dban (Dariks boot and nuke) and burn it to cd. put cd into old computer and reboot then run from cd. Do not run on your new system. use DBAN only if you want to completely eradicate any trace of data on a hard drive. This is the ultimate in data shredding--there's no recovery once you've used it http://download.cnet.com/Darik-s-Boot-and-Nuke-for-CD-and-DVD/3000-2094_4-10151762.html

OOB photo but using two photos http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/3ddogcropped.jpg 1 Open both photos into Photoshop 2 Now drag and drop the photo that you want to appear as the oob part of the photo Into the master photo Now you should have two layers in the main photo. (Background and layer 1) http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/dragdropphoto.jpg 3 Select layer 1 so the it goes blue the active layer You can reduce the opacity of the layer so you can see the background photo through it http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/reduceopacity.jpg Select the move tool and move the photo to about where you want it to be Go to edit tab and select free transform tool and resize it In the transform tools you can use Scale, Rotate, Distort to match it to where you want it. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/resize.jpg When you are happy with it double click inside the box to finish it (you can always go back to it later by selecting the layer and click on transform again). 4 now you have to create a layer mask Click on add layer mask http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/layermask.jpg If you do not have a layer mask icon i.e. (Photoshop elements you can do it this way) 1 Click on the background layer to make it active now go to the the create new fill or adjustment layer (circle icon half black half white) at bottom of the layer pallet Select the Levels now you will have a adjustment layer between the background layer and layer 1. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/newlayerelements.jpg 2 now click on layer1 to make it active. Press ctrl + G keys that links it with the adjustment layer below Now you should have a arrow pointing down at the side of the layer icon http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/newlayermaskelementscopy.jpg 5 now select the white layer mask thumbnail ( adjustment layer box in elements) with the foreground / background colour set to black and white ( press d key ) Select the brush tool click on part of the photo you do not want it will remove it Remove all that you do not want. Do not worry if you remove parts you need press the X key and the foreground colour will now be white. Now click the brush tool over the part you need back and it should reappear (black removes it white returns it) http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/python9/brushtoolremovenotneeded.jpg 6 return the opacity back to 100% on layer 1 If you missed some bit with the brush tool with the opacity down it will show now so you can remove them or return them.

This is how to make a square brush for Photoshop. It helps to erase a corner 1 click file then new set width and height to 2500. Set background to transparent 2 with the rectangular marquee tool draw a square in the middle about half the size of the frame 3 with the marquee still flashing fill it with the paint bucket tool (black) 4 go to edit tab and click define brush That is it you should have a square brush in you brush pallet When using a brush in Photoshop to increase or decrease the size of the brush press the [ ] keys [ Decrease size ] increase size
-
That is great job Bob. you are getting the hang of it now
