I am plaining to purchase a brand new Dell T3400 PC which 100% compatible

with 64-bit MS Vista OS. The hardware drivers are no worry. I worry if the

regular software like MS office 2007 and DVD editing program like Roxio 10

will work under 64-bit OS without dedicate for 64-bit spec. Are anyone tried

and works?

Sure it works, Vista 64 runs most 32 bit software but it doesn't like

16 bit software and it's surprising just how much 32 bit software has

16 bit installers which won't work.

Office and Roxio will work perfectly.

I've been running Office and Roxio EMC on 64bit Windows for three years.

All you have to do is google on something like "vista 64 bit compatibility"

to get lots of hits like this old one:

There are also forums on software that runs on 64bits at PlanetAMD64
