Windows Media Player

I have a laptop connected to a Sony projector and attempted to show an AVI

file from the laptop using Windows Media Player.

I can see the Windows Media Player session on both my laptop and the

projection screen, but I can not see the AVI in the WMP display on the

projection screen.

I press the play button and the applications scroll bar at the bottom

indicating that the video is playing is moving.

The AVI file is playing on my laptop, but WMP display section is black.

I have checked the video setting to ensure that AVI files are valid formats.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

RE: Windows Media Player

Hi,

Go to Tools, Options, Performance and click on Advanced Options

Check or uncheck the Use Overlay option and see what happens.
