Problem installing SP1

I have been attempting to install Service Pack 1 on Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

I have just reinstalled the operating system and on the previous install I

had no problems with SP1. I wonder if anyone else had had problems

installing this and, if so what some possible solutions are?

Regards

Is there any possibility you might be more specific about

your problem?

As stated below you literally leave it open to innumerable

possibilities!

First, thanks very much for the assistance. Unfortunately nothing from

there worked for me.

Re: Problem installing SP1

Here's a link to a forum with many links about your error code:

http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/Search/Search.aspx?words=8024200D&searchKey=&lcid=1033&searchscope=forumscope&siteid=17&ForumID=1992&ForumGroupID=-1&GoButton=+Go+

You may need to start over and ensure the requisite KBs are

installed before doing the SP1 update. Are you using an

update disc or Windows update for this?
