KenB Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS Download Revo Uninstaller (free ) click here When you run it ( It will be in Start >All Programs > Revo ) it will list all installed programs. Click on P C Performer and then > Delete ( tool bar ) Select "Advanced" - this will remove all traces. Plastic Nev Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Just to add, I and quite a few other advisor's use Revo, it is certainly better at removing unwanted or no further use programs than the Windows own uninstaller. Also, believe it or not, if there comes a time to remove Revo, say someone comes up with an even better remover, Revo will uninstall itself. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Plastic Nev Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 By request on a different forum, someone actually tried it, and it does. After all it is free to re-install it so why not? I also laughed too as it does strike you as funny. A program that will quite happily commit suicide!:D Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. cybergran Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hi folks I am also trying to get rid of PC Performer, I did as KenB advised and installed Revo Uninstaller, it has been brilliant at uninstalling several unwanted programes EXCEPT PC Perfirmer :( When I tried I got "Message file C:/Program Files\PC Performer\unins OOO.msg is missing. Please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the program" I have tried several times with the same result and am at my wits end as to what to do. Can someone please help in very simple language because I am not very experienced in the use of computers (But I am trying hard to learn) Thanks in anticipation Cybergran Quote
Plastic Nev Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hi cybergran, as Randy pointed out to FenKat, please start a new thread. This one has been marked as solved and therefore will get no further attention. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. mbsbco Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) I have solved the "PC Performer Window" problem ( i.e to remove the PC Performer Window being appeared each time unwantedly, immediately after opening the PC.) in the following way:- Start > Program > P.C.Performer (See in 2nd short Pop-Up) > Uninstall PC Performer. Restart the PC and see the result. Edited June 28, 2013 by mbsbco Quote
