Guest BP Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I run Vista Home Premium (64-bit version) on my computer. I'm the Administrator, but my wife and I have user accounts. We also have Office Professional on it. On occasion my wife accesses her email from my computer rather then hers. Yesterday when she tried to access it, Outlook loaded but she also got a message that Office had to be setup for her an the install program had to run?? Any ideas what's up and how to fix it? Microsoft has an installer cleanup utility, but they say not to run it with Office 12007 products. Also, The type in the dialog boxes in Outlook is so large that the text (and options) are cut off. Any Idea how to restore the default text for the dialog boxes? Thanks.
Guest Charlie Russel - MVP Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Re: (OT?) Outlook 2007 in 64-bit Vista This is not a 64-bit quesiton, even though you're running 64-bit Vista. You'd do far better to ask this quesiton over on one of the Office forums. That being said, each user who logs in to a computer has a different account, hopefully. Even though it's your computer, if she has her own account, Outlook will configure itself specifically for her use when her account is logged in. -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/blogs/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel "BP" <brcphillips@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1smh91efxicaf.13iwikodv7xxj$.dlg@40tude.net... >I run Vista Home Premium (64-bit version) on my computer.
