what is the limit on hard drive size support for windows 2k server sp4

I'm in the hurricane affected area of La. and my main PC is dead. I want to

move the 350 gig hard drive to an older win2k sp4 machine. Will win 2k sp4

"see" this size drive?

Make sure that you apply the registry fix before you move the disk.

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Atapi\Parameters

 

Value name: EnableBigLba

Data type: REG_DWORD

Value data: 0x1

John - I've added the DWord to the path you instructed. This is what I see

from my regedit is :

Name Value name: Enable BigLba

Type: REG_DWORD

Data: 0x00000001 (1)

 

Is this correct?

Remove the space in the value name.
