What determines the background/wallpaper that is there behind the login dialog box (like for example if one selects screen saver password-protected. Then, in that case, I have a background, and I don't know where it came from. More accurately, I know where it came from (I remember selecting the image), but I don't know how I set it or how I can change it. -- Tim Wilson

If you want to see a JPG, the actve desktop turns on. Try right clicking the background and selecting properties. Go to the page marked WEB and uncheck the the box "Show web content"
