Guest Carlos Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Realtek has released a new set of drivers for their high definition audio chipsets included in many popular motherboards. Go here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false Click on the checkbox, then click on Next and you will be taken to the download page. Or use these following direct d/l links: Vista x64 ftp://66.104.77.130/pc/audio/Vista_R204.zip XP x64 ftp://152.104.238.19/pc/audio/WDM_R204.zip Both are official Realtek links. And here is also the readme file: ftp://152.104.238.19/pc/audio/R204_Readme.pdf Carlos
Guest Juergen Kluth Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Re: Realtek HD Audio 2.04 released But at realtek audio, you can nearly be 100% asured, that there will be another version out, before you finished that download. jk
Guest Carlos Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Re: Realtek HD Audio 2.04 released I guess you are right. They jumped from 2.02 to 2.03 to 2.04 in just one month. :) Carlos "Juergen Kluth" wrote: > But at realtek audio, > you can nearly be 100% asured, that there will be another version out, > before you finished that download. > jk > > >

I just installed 2.03 the other day -.-; Luckily the drivers never seem to change much, just additional device support and "customizations".
