Guest Joel Pettigrew Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 The machine is running Windows XP Pro SP3. Installed a few days ago, drivers are all installed, updates are all installed. Lots of programs are already installed, from Dynamic GP to Gtalk to Microsoft Office. When I go into Add or Remove programs it says please wait while this list populates; It, however, regadrless of time open, never brings anything up. If I close it and attempt to open again, add or remove programs will not open unless I restart. I can doube click, and right click - run and I dont get any change. Things I have checked. I went to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall in the registery and checked to see permissions and if the files were there. All the apps were there and the permissions were all listed as full. (this happens when i log in as the admin or the user with admin privliges) I also ran, REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL and it completes successfully. Any help would be appreciated. I dont really want to wipe the system again since its a fresh install. Any other ideas? PLEASE HELP!
Guest ju.c Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Re: Add or Remove programs Doesn't populate (its blank) That problem sounds like what this program fixes. Try it, won't hurt.
