Quick Launch Toolbar??

Somehow I moved the Quick Launch Toolbar over to the right, next to the

Start Toolbar; which leaves the blank portion on the far left..

Is there any way to restore Quick Launch back to it's original position

on the bottom far left??

Click and drag using the "handle" on the left end of the toolbar.

Re: Quick Launch Toolbar??

I have already tried that; but it leaves an 1-1/2" blank space between

it and the Start button, which is now used by the open pages..

It looks like the open pages space and the quick launch space have been

transposed..

<sigh> It's a simple drag-n-drop GUI panel arrangement. If you can't

arrange it by using your mouse then you should consider having your

10-year-old niece do it for you..

Not as easy as one would think. May require deleting / recreating the user

profile.

Re: Quick Launch Toolbar??

Two suggestions.

1. Try dragging it to the desktop using the grip bar, releasing it, and then

locating it where you want by drag and drop.

2. Try right-clicking the toolbar as far on the right as possible, so that

you are outside the square that contains the right-most icon. Select "View".

Change the checkmark from "large icons" to "small icons" or vice versa. That

may allow you to drag and drop laterally without a problem. Then resize.

Another possibility is to extend the full width toolbar to double height by

gripping the top of it and dragging it upward. That should free up the

specific quicklaunch segment (with the icons), at least I think so. You

should then be able to locate them wherever you want. You can return to

single height by reversing the drag and drop process.
