Guest Carlos Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 A new release for Java is available. http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp There is still no x64 IE support so the file you want to download is jre-6u10-windows-i586-p.exe that will take care of the Java thing in IE 32-bit. Release notes here: http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/ReleaseNotes.html Don't forget to uninstall your previous version of Java first! Carlos

Guest Bobby Johnson Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Re: Sun Java 6 update 10 released But it's not a full version for x64. See the info at: http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/install/jre/install-windows-64.html It's the same info that has been posted ever since their first limited package for x64. Guest Carlos Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Re: Sun Java 6 update 10 released Bobby, Rest assured that the very day they start supporting IE x64 my post will be in full CAPITALS! :) Carlos "Bobby Johnson" wrote: > But it's not a full version for x64. Guest Bobby Johnson Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Re: Sun Java 6 update 10 released I would fully expect you to do that. My response was to Clayton who seemed a bit excited and I just wanted to point out that it isn't what he would like it to be.
