Guest Carlos Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Read all about it here: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/10/23/windows-vista-service-pack-2-sp2-pre-beta-600216489-released-to-selected-testers/ Of course, hackers have already managed to create a registry hack that allows you to download this risky and unstable download. I won't post the web page where that modification is made public, it might even cause a further damage in the stock market and worldwide economy or a distortion in the space continuum! ;) Carlos
Guest Tony Sperling Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Re: Vista pre-beta SP2 released to selected testers Can't be long now until Windows 7 goes Beta, provided the Space-Time Continuum isn't warped or distorted in the mean-time - anybody know if there's anywhere you can announce your interest in one of those? Not yet, just checked Connect and there's no application yet.... I'm sufficiently happy with Vista Ultimate 64 that I might just bypass Windows 7 testing.... -- XS11E, Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org
Guest Carlos Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Re: Vista pre-beta SP2 released to selected testers Me too, for the moment Windows 7 looks like "Vista reloaded". :) Carlos "XS11E" wrote: > "Tony Sperling" <tony-sperling-at-dbmail-dk> wrote: > > > Can't be long now until Windows 7 goes Beta, provided the > > Space-Time Continuum isn't warped or distorted in the mean-time - > > anybody know if there's anywhere you can announce your interest in > > one of those? > > Not yet, just checked Connect and there's no application yet.... > > I'm sufficiently happy with Vista Ultimate 64 that I might just bypass > Windows 7 testing.... > > > -- > XS11E, Killing all posts from Google Groups > The Usenet Improvement Project: > http://improve-usenet.org >
Guest Tony Sperling Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Re: Vista pre-beta SP2 released to selected testers I'm afraid that I am tempted to agree, Carlos - but at the very least it should be a kind of SP with a revenge. Hopefully. Tony. . .
