To all I ask.. I just installed 64 bit Vista business after almost a year

and a half of Vista 32Bit.. My question is in my old system control panel I

had a Bluetooth icon but now in 64bit I do not. Where did it go?? Does 64bit

not support it or do I need to enable it somehow ??..This would be kind of

nice to have.. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Bluetooth

Additional options is part of the Standard Control panel if you use Classic

view Bluetooth shows up on my Vista 64 in the main control panel. If you

don't use classic then Bluetooth shows up under network and internet on

mine.

Re: Bluetooth

To all.. I have searched control panel and still it is not there, I did look

under additional options as requested and also did as built in help and

support reads and looked under hardware and sound. Still no luck. Weird

because I always had it in the past. I hope someone has a answer as it would

be nice to have so I can connect with these things

Re: Bluetooth

The bluetooth option won't show up until you have a working bluetooth

adapter. Look in device manager to see if your bluetooth adapter is working.

If it is, and your driver has loaded correctly, you'll see a "bluetooth

radios" listing in device manager. If not, you may need to obtain an updated

driver for your bluetooth.

Check Device Manager for your Bluetooth adapter. If it's not listed, or

has a yellow exclamation mark against it, it's not installed to Windows

satisfaction. You may have "Unknown Device" entries instead (indicating

that you need to locate one or more drivers).

Re: Bluetooth

Does your system have Bluetooth in it, either on board or a

plug in device?

I have a Vista x64 Enterprise desktop system. There was no

Bluetooth icon in the Control Panel until after I plugged in

my Bluetooth dongle. Vista install the device and a

Bluetooth icon appeared in my control.
