Guest Will Renkel Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 heres the problem... Yesterday I downloaded/installed the latest virus definitions for AVG. Suddenly it said a CYGWIN executable - df.exe - has a virus and disabled access to it. FYI - it runs just fine on other puters and was running just fine on so called bad puter. So I disabled AVG, but now W2K wont allow me access to the file. Can someone give me advice as to how to fix W2K? Yes - I have contacted AVG but no response from them yet. -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Will Renkel Wheaton, Ill. ---------------------------------------------------------------

Can you restore the file from the AVG virus vault? If you can, does it still show up as a virus if you turn off heuristic scanning?
