Guest Denise Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Hi, I have Windows XP Pro X64. I checked Windows Task Manager and discovered that my computer is using "iexplore.exe *32" instead of *64. I get automatic updates so I'm sure that my computer is up-to-date. When is an X64 version expected to come out? -- Denise ~ If you don't know where you came from, you won't know where you're going.
Guest Jane C Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Re: iexplor.exe 32-bit instead of 64-bit Hi Denise, You already have a 64 bit version of IE! It's in Program Files. The 32 bit is set as default though. A lot of things don't work with the 64 bit version, such as most plugins, including the ones for the Microsoft Update site. -- Jane, not plain ;) 64 bit enabled :-) Batteries not included. Braincell on vacation ;-) MVP Windows Shell/User "Denise" <Denise@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4C66B5BC-4F42-4350-B2F8-B59DF13A18F2@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > I have Windows XP Pro X64.
