iexplor.exe 32-bit instead of 64-bit

Hi,

I have Windows XP Pro X64. I checked Windows Task Manager and discovered

that my computer is using "iexplore.exe *32" instead of *64. I get automatic

updates so I'm sure that my computer is up-to-date. When is an X64 version

expected to come out?

Hi Denise,

You already have a 64 bit version of IE! It's in Program Files. The 32 bit

is set as default though. A lot of things don't work with the 64 bit

version, such as most plugins, including the ones for the Microsoft Update

site.

Jane, not plain ;) 64 bit enabled :-)

Batteries not included. Braincell on vacation ;-)
