Guest trekant Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 When we start our second computer we get a stop error and the screen comes up saying that we need to run a chkdsk /f but when we were finally able to get the prompt to come up again it said bad command. Has anyone ever dealt with one of these and is it completely hopeless. We cannot get the computer to start in any mode (last config or anything). Any advice would be great

Any advice would be great I am a little confused. First you report "When we finally get to the [Command] Prompt" and then you write "We cannot get the computer to start in any mode". The two statements are mutually contradictory - please clarify. It would also help if you reported the recent history of this machine - things don't usually happen by themselves.
