Hi - have windows 2000 Professional, SP4, 1.2GHZ, 512 MB and 80g HD. Can I

upgrade to Windows Vista from Windows 2000?

 

Seems like an easy question but cannot find any answer in support> Can

anyone answer?? Tks!!!

It will need to be a clean install if you go to vista, but you are

eligible for the Upgrade version, see link.

I wouldn't for many reasons........One, your machine is waaaaaaay to

slow for it in my opinion. Win2K is far superior as well as XP in the

software compatibility arena.......It'll wind up costing you more than

the price of an upgrade disk.

Bob,

 

You can upgrade from XP to Vista, but not from 2000. 1 Gig of RAM is also

required
