Guest Steve Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I have an ordinary user directory that was created on this computer under W2K, but has somehow gotten marked as read-only. Although I can view the properties and clear the read-only flag, the directory remains read-only. There's nothing unusual in the security attributes; this particular directory is full access for everyone. The only thing I can think of that's odd about it is that it's fairly large, about 10K files totalling some 6 GB. Hints? Steve Hendrix
