Guest Will Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 I am trying to transfer a Windows 2000 install to new hardware and the system hangs and reboots on one of the drivers. For some reason, starting in Safe Mode is *not* displaying the list of drivers as it usually does, on the new system. What would cause that and is there some extra step I can take that would force display of each driver as it loads? -- Will

After repair, I hit F8 during initial boot and get Safe Mode and select it. I do NOT get a list of drivers, just the normal sliding bar during Windows 2000 boot up. -- Will
