Guest Gerald Bramwell Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi, How do I go about getting IE7 to save usernames and passwords when I visit sites that need them? At the moment I keep having to input them each time I visit a site. I didn't have this problem with IE6 and it only started after the automatic update to IE7. Thanks Gerald
Guest Shane Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Re: How to save passwords in IE7 Gerald In IE7 go to Tools > Internet Options and click the Content tab. Find the Personal Information area and click the AutoComplete button for AutoComplete options. Enable the "User names and passwords" and, if you want, "Prompt me to save passwords" I think that will take care of it. Can anyone offer any help? Bear in mind, my nickname is ComputerChallenged for a reason. Eileen
