Guest Carlos Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 RE: Will 32 bit MCE 2005 recordings play in 64 bit Vista Ultimate? Hi: Your recordings playback capacities do not depend on the system itself but on the decoders you have installed in Vista x64. The default WMP in Vista x64 is 32-bit. If you have no success in playback, then install the freeware audio/video decoder ffdshow. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm Carlos "p.lo" wrote: > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > > Cheers, > Paul
Guest Barb Bowman Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Re: Will 32 bit MCE 2005 recordings play in 64 bit Vista Ultimate? In addition, there may be DRM issues. Since you need to perform a clean install of x64 Vista, even though the recordings are from the same machine, you may not be able to play them back. Unprotected dvr-ms should be fine.
