Guest Dennis Pack Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Re: 64 bit wireless adapteres/drivers JA D: Ralink is one of the chipsets that support XP x64 and Vista x64. A listing of cards with a compatable chipset is available at "http://ralink.rapla.net/". The drivers are available at "http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.html". Have a great day. -- Dennis Pack XP x64 SP2, Vista Enterprise x64 Office Professional Plus 2007 "JA D" <pejd@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:OLiTeST3HHA.1484@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > we have x-64 pro > are there any pci wireless adapters with 64-bit drivers >
Guest John Barnes Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: 64 bit wireless adapteres/drivers Do you have pci-e? Can you use your rj-45 network connection? Guest Theo Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: 64 bit wireless adapteres/drivers I think most cards based on either Ralink chips or Broadcom chips work fine. I have a D-Link and there are drivers in Win x64, Vista x86, & Vista x64 that loaded automatically when the card was installed. I did not have the card plugged in during system installation. Guest Theo Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: 64 bit wireless adapteres/drivers Oops! It's not a D-Link. It's a Belkin F5D7001 and it has a Broadcom chip on it. Apologize. I don't know why I had D-Link on the brain!
