2003 x64 default print drivers

Does anyone know of a list of the default, out of the box print drivers that

ship with x64 Windows 2003? I'm trying to determine the level of out of the

box printer support in x64 as opposed to x32. I need to know what drivers

are included in x32 but not in x64 and vice versa. To my surprise, I can't

find this information anywhere. Any help greatly appreciated.

This is a very specific request - I don't think sucha list exists.

Try this:

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx

I don't know if it makes the distinction between 32 & 64bit, though.

Tony. . .

Re: 2003 x64 default print drivers

The drivers available on x32 are the same as available on x64. No new

drivers where added in the SP1 x64 server release.

Re: 2003 x64 default print drivers

Thanks Alan. I don't see a list of updated or added printer drivers in

either the SP1 or SP2 documentation for x32. Does anyone know if any

additional printer drivers were added in either of the x32 service packs?

Re: 2003 x64 default print drivers

If you want to see what printers are included, open

NTPRINT.INF in your WINDOWS\inf directory to view the list.

Re: 2003 x64 default print drivers

We stopped adding new drivers in SPs on NT4.

The core drivers (unidrv and pscript5) get updated during the SP installs.
