Guest Ham Pastrami Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 It used to be that when I scheduled a chkdsk /f for the next reboot, I would get a console display during startup showing the chkdsk progress and output. Now, it just stays at the Starting Windows screen. It still performs the check and the rest of the bootup continues as normal, but I'd like to see the progress again. This change might be traceable to the installation of some kernel-level debuggers that I installed. I have since uninstalled them, but still no console during pre-boot disk checks.
