Upgrading Win2003 R2 to 64 bit licensing ...

If one purchased an OEM version of Win 2003 Svr Std R2 (32 bit) within the

past six months, can they use their existing product license key to upgrade

to the 64 bit version - assuming they can acquire the media from their

vendor? TIA ...

No. OEM licensing is quite restrictive. You _might_ be able to talk your OEM

vendor into a swap, but I doubt it. And the license keys are definitely

different between x86 and x64 for Server 2k3.
