Is anybody else having problems with right clicking or clicking on icons

either to execute or access the properties to have a not responding or being

able to do anything for upto 5 - 10 seconds? (before things come right)

no, not having problem. But here's a trick - change your mouse double-click

speed to be faster. For reasons I've never understood, this seems to speed

up menu opens, right mouse click response, etc.

Do you have the same problem on both your systems. I have a similar problem

with Vista64 since it doesn't do a very good job allocating processes to

cores, so I am forced to set affinity manually. XP64 does a good job and

doesn't require me to waste my time doing this. You might check your Task

Manager and see if one core is maxing out when this happens as it does on

mine.

I'll give it a go, it doesn't happen all the time so it's not a major, had

the same problem with Vista 32 back in April and before all these

performance and reliability packs were released on windows update which

leads me to it's not a OS bug but then again, Microsoft can't fix

everything.
