I am so slow today....

 

How do I set the "either boot the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom" to do this?

It would be better if you kept this in the same discussion thread that

was already started, it is now disconnected from any context or previous

information so many respondents will have no idea what you might be

asking or talking about. The same thing when replying, keep some of the

quoted text in your replies so that we have a bit of content and context

otherwise we may be a bit confused as to what the replies address.

 

To boot with the Windows 2000 cd go in the BIOS and set the boot order

so that the computer boots to the CD drive before the hard disk, then

insert your Windows 2000 in the drive and reboot the computer.

How do I go into bio? Nothing stay up long enough for me to go there, and

pretty soon I'm Windows 2000. When it goes there, it just changes to

"dumping everything".

BIOS? while the system is first starting up. press F2 or DEL depending

on the BIOS manufacturer. Just tap repeatedly. If windows starts loading

you missed the chance, and will need to try again using the other key.
