We are getting this stop code after we forced a windows 2000 server down with

the power button. Anyone have this happen and any ideas on how to recover.

Usual methods are not working.

Thanks for the info - sems that I have a corrupted registry and possible hard

disk damage. I was able to repair windows but I got the stop error again this

time a data violation. Trying to run chkdsk but it doesn't want to finish.

Will be replacing the disk I guess.

Go to the manufacturers website and download the program to check the HDD

for integrity.

You also can possibly use it as an added drive by running a format program

with bad clusters left out of the sequence.

Also /U will erase everything on the HDD in case of privacy issues.
