Removing Chapter Divisions from Converted DVD

I converted a VHS tape to a DVD but Windows divided it into chapters so it doesn't play correctly with a DVD player.  How can I get rid of the chapter divisions?  It's almost 2 hours long and only plays a few seconds at the first then skips to the last

few minutes!!  I can only play it on a computer by advancing from chapter to chapter!!
