KB979155 installer says "The update is not applicable to your computer"

Hi,

 

I have been having the problem described in the following link(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979155/en-us) for some time, but I can't install the proposed fix.

 

When I try to execute it I get the message "The update is not applicable to your computer", and nothing else to go on. Nothing on internet talking about this error message and this specific KB.

 

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits. All the updates and service packs available until now (04/29/13) are installed. The file downloaded was for the x64 Windows version (Windows6.1-KB979155-x64).

 

Any idea what the problem might be?
