replace os

i have to replace my os, windows xp prof x64 with same, i want to make sure

what i'm getting is legal at the cheapest price possible. what should i look

for, i want to be able to download updates if necessary, from microsoft's

website.

buy from a reputable reseller. There's a whole list of ones we recommend on

my blog, but off the top of my head:

NCIX.com (US and Canada)

Directron.com (US)

NewEgg.com

ZipZoomFly.com

planetamd64.com

Charlie,

thanks for your response, but, since i've never dealt with most of the

resellers (purchasing an os), i can't know if they're reputable, this is the

reason i asked what i should look for? do i need an coa on oem software, is

just having a license good enough?

Buy from one of the ones I listed. They're all reasonably priced, and all
