On one clientcomputer running Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office 2003, we get

the Following Error when starting Windows Desktop Search, translated from

Dutch:

"can not find entrypoint of procedure _time64 in DLL-file msvcrt.dll"

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Have you run windows update on the machine?

If not , I would do so.

Have a look in the system32 folder , the latest version of msvcrt.dll that

I know of is from the year 2003.

If you are using an older version...that could be the problem

And as stated in a response to your other ng post, can be caused by a

corrupt msvcrt.

Also DTS has been updated? there were horrendous probs with DTS on win2k +

Office, on earlier versions
