Fax

Hi ,

 

I am having a peculiar problem with my Win XP x64. I installed the fax

services, and when i try to send a fax, it does not go, it remains in out

box. I went to help file, there it asked me to check if local services were

on, i checked that too, it is on, no problems there.

The modem i see in device manager is SOFTV92 Data Fax modem with Smart CP.

There is no problem with the modem as i checked using DIALER to call my other

number and i am able to call my other number. I am also able to use 3rd party

fax software like VentaFax.

So please help me guys.

This is not a Windows x64 problem.

 

You need to contact the vendor of your computer or the

Soft32 company about drivers.

 

This is not a hardware forum, it's a Windows 64-bit

If you are talking about Windows fax in XP X64, have you set up all of the

dialing rules correctly. They can be confusing, and make sure you point

your fax to a proper dialing rule. In my experience the fax still does not

send immediately, but some time in the next 4-6 hours it decides to get up

and go, so also be patient.
