Guest :. mrcmobile Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 win2k workstation sp4 - Audio driver AC97 last updates. It happens that I can't ear system sounds. All wav files are played correctly. If I play a test wav file I can ear it correctly. If I go to control panel sounds and I assign a sound to an operation (f.i. empty trash), the speakers play correctly the wav files. But if I close control panel and I try to empty trash or anything other applications with associated sound, I can only ear the beep from the motherboard buzzer. I have re-installed ac97 drivers with last updates. No success. Any tips? Thank you. Marco
