Repeating log on screen. Can not log on

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hello, Recently I am unable to log on to my 2000 Pro machine for any user. I

type the user name and password and after it applys network and personal

settings, it returns to the log on screen. The happens even with

Administrator.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as usual.

Thanks in advance.

What is the recent history of this machine?

Re: Repeating log on screen. Can not log on

Hello Pegasus,

I changed slave drives, unplugged the DVD, and booted with another spare HDD

just to see what was on it.

When I went back to my orginal drive, thats when the problem started.
