Using a 64-bit licence key on 32-bit XP.

While this may seem like a stupid question, I would appreciate any help

received.

I have an older PC, (Athlon 2500+, nForce 2 mobo, 1GB PC2700), and need to

get a valid licence key on it. It had to get reformatted due to a failing

HDD. I unfortunately lost my XP 32 bit disc key, but I do have several x64

license keys laying around. Would it be possible to use one of these keys on

32-bit XP?

Hello,

Nope it's not possible.

The Windows XP X64 keys will not work on 32-bit Windows XP

Thanks,
