Quick Question Forum.

Hi Guys.Wondering what you think about having a Forum,where we can ask a quick question,on something,that requires a simple answer.

Often, I need to know, how to do do something,but feel it's not worth creating a Thread over,just to get a quick answer.:)

Even if we do create a 'Quick Question' Forum, you would still need to start a thread to ask there. Besides, it would confuse the users about what kinds of problems they should exactly post there.

I think it would lead to confusion as Goku said, Because alot of people wouldn't know whether their question had a simple answer or not,

 

what might be useful is a commonly asked question and answer section, or step by step guides on how to.

Was just a thought,and felt a need for something, similar. No worries.

I was thinking along the lines, of a continuous Sticky,where simple questions can be asked.

Someone wishes to answer,they quote the question, in their answer,post.

If some issue requires a detailed answer,then the member is directed to a particular Forum.

Yes, but the Sticky might extend to thousands of questions and therefore it might be difficult to manage it. Also, there might be repetitions of questions as I don't think anyone will bother to read a whole thread that is pages and pages long.
