Can IIS be installed not using add/remove programs?

Can I install IIS not using add/remove programs? Reason I ask is that

Add/remove programs doesn't work on my windows 2003 server. I will fix this

when I can, but I need IIS installed, is there a way?

The Windows Server cookbook has a script to do it.
