XP Profession - Pro.msi missing file - Srvc Pack 2 disk not recogn

I reloaded Norton this week and now my pro.msi file is missing. I have

followed find the disks and have started to replace the file, but the system

is not recognizing the Service Pack 2 disk. The install program keeps

poping up and I am really frustrated. It is the proper disk, but I keep

receiving an error that it is the wrong disk. I am NOT computer savy -

please help - and thank you very much. Happy turkey day!

Kim,

Sometimes these .msi files get placed in a temp folder then get

deleted. I would recommend uninstalling Norton and see if the error goes

away. If so I would create a new folder on the C drive and call it Norton

Install then copy the norton installation files to that folder then run the

install for Norton there. Instead of installing it from a CD or server share.
