Can Not Remove Modem Software

I inherited a SBS that has had multiple modems and software installed. There

are conflicts trying to configure fax services. The modems were improperly

removed but the software was not uninstalled. At this point I do not have the

modems and I can not uninstall the software from add remove programs. I also

contacted the various modem manufacturers for removal software but none is

available. Has anyone dealt with this type of situation?
