Guest Niveau3_TLB Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Hi, Is this the right newsgroup to post my question? We have 3 sites with one W2K DC on each site. In the main site, we have a single DC with the 5 FSMO roles on it. The Virtualization team here have virtualized this machine, the one with the 5 FSMO roles. Could this cause problems? They did this 5-6 months ago and we are starting to have DNS and AD with users loggin in the domain at the start of the day. Regards,

Guest j9 Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Re: Known problem with DC virtualization How big is the host machine, and what percentage of resources does the DC get? I'm personally of the opinion that there are certain things, like domain controllers and Exchange servers, that are best left unvirtualized.
