I remember when Norton Utilities first came out - it was an excellent program at that time, but has really gone down hill since Symantec bought them. PC Tools wasn't bad either, but I preferred Norton.
Guest Charlie Russel - MVP Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Re: Symantec Screwup It's been a long, long time since Peter Norton had anything to do with it. And an equally long time since I've allowed it on any machine I have anything to do with. Nothing in a bright yellow box is allowed on any of the machines I support. -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel "Theo" <theo@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:e0gC9hzOIHA.292@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > http://news.yahoo.com/s/zd/20071206/tc_zd/221141;_ylt=ArDMq2ihohdczzoht5RdY.SDzdAF > > Read the article above and you'll see why a lot of people don't trust > Symantec/Norton anymore.
