Downgrading an XPmachine...need utility...

That analyzes the hardware and sets pathways to manufacturers.

 

I have a damn gateway product that keeps rebooting after a bugcheck

with XP. eMachines model W3118

 

I used to use Aida32 and used it to get the proper nVidia video driver

for W2kP but aida is an older product and the author has gone

commercial, going to the Everest team.

There is HWiNFO32 but it is shareware.

Being older aida32 can't identify all components,placing 'unknown'

it catagories where it doesn't recogize the hardware.

 

Isn't there a freeware solution out there anymore?
