Guest spock Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Hello Everyone Is it possible to view Divx movies in XP Pro X64? If so what software do I need? Thanks
Guest Jane C Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Re: Divx ??? Hi spock, Yes, you should have no problems. Get DivX from here: http://www.divx.com/ AFAIK, you will need to use the 32 bit WMP. FFDshow has a 64 bit codec pack for use with 64 bit WMP, but I can't remember off the top of my head whether it supports DivX or not. -- Jane, not plain ;) 64 bit enabled :-) Batteries not included. Guest Carlos Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Re: Divx ??? Jane, I believe it does. I have tested ffdshow x64 with WMP 64-bit playing Xvid encoded videos (not Divx) with no problems. ffdshow x64 latest build, dated July 22nd., can be downloaded from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=173941&package_id=214245&release_id=523000 For WMP 32-bit, ffdshow x86 can be downloaded from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm Carlos "Jane C" wrote: > Hi spock, > > Yes, you should have no problems.
