Ignore the SPAM, please

The MS public newsgroups have been hit this morning by a bunch of SPAM.

Please just ignore the messages, and don't reply to them. I've reported

them, and they'll eventually get cleaned off the servers, but it always

takes longer than I'd like and it is made harder if folks reply to the

messages, since the replies hang around after the original is gone.

Thanks for your understanding. And my apologies for the mess it made of our

"home".

I've created a global filter in Agent to automatically delete all of

those messages:

Subject: {M.I.5}

Kill Action: Delete

Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group

for everyone to see. I'm sorry, but I don't answer questions

addressed directly to me in E-mail or news groups.

he keeps changing the thing slightly. And deleting them is no big issue

locally. It's getting them off the server that concerns me.

Highlighting and hitting the delete key works well locally.

That's a regular expression using the wildcard character ".". It

matches (and deletes) all of the messages that he's posted so far.

But yes, it doesn't help get them off the server.
