Indexing just a portion of a webpage

Hello,

I have created a catalog for a website using the Indexing Service. Is

there a way to make the Indexing Service only index a portion of each

webpage in the site (i.e. the content area)? Right now, my search

descriptions are pulling back all of the text on each page (the

navigation, header text, ... ). As you can see below, this info is

pretty pointless. Does anyone know if there is a way to scan just the

content area?

Industrial Park. Search Properties. Business Assistance. Business

I have realized that the Meta Description can hold the description to

be indexed.......

....however, this is a static solution. with this solution I will have

to copy a portion of content into this tag on all 85 or so pages in my

site. Also, this solution will not reflect text changes to the content

that the client will be able to make using Contribute...

any suggestions?
