how to remove the 'contrast' label from screen

these days a permanent 'contrast' label has got attached to the monitor. previously it used to come automatically but after pressing the 'exit' button on the monitor it would go. but of late it has become permanent so much so that i cant even open the 'memu' option on the monitor. this is obviously causing a lot of problem. is there any way to solve this problem. my entire system is otherwise working perfectly.

 

i have win xp sp2.

 

please help me.

It sounds like the monitor menu keys have stuck via either smoke or dust and debris.

 

If the monitor is otherwise ok screen wise it may be wise to have it serviced.
